Hostel:

Accommodation will be provided during the course in the respective students’ hostel.
Students should abide by Hostel rules and regulations.
Ragging is strictly forbidden. Strict action will be taken against those involved in ragging.
Consumption of alcohol ,narcotic substances ,chewing tobacco, smoking etc is strictly prohibited .
All the matter of the hostels should be registered through warden and should reached to the principal. The hostelers should maintain peace, harmony, integrity and discipline in the hostel premises.
Hostel borders must be present during the daily evening roll call.

Cleanliness:

Rooms and surroundings should be kept clean and tidy. Rooms should be swept and bathrooms cleaned for the next person’s use by removing hairs, pieces of soaps papers etc. All the wastes are to be put into the dustbin/garbage drum.
Sticking of posters/ photos on the walls is not allowed. Exchange or sharing of beds is to be avoided strictly.

For any breakage or damage caused by a hosteller, the hostel authority has the right to deduct equal amount of money from the boarders.
Hostel fee shall include water and electricity charge.
The hostellers will be themselves responsible for their valuables and should keep them under lock and key. Authority will not be responsible for any loss and damage.

Guest/visitors are not allowed to enter to the hosteller’s rooms.
Visitors can meet the hostellers in the common visiting area in the hostel during the scheduled visiting time.

All lights should be switched off from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. During day time lights & Fans to be put of when students are out from their rooms.
Use of stove/heater/individual irons and other electrical equipments is strictly prohibited.

Students are liable for immediate dismissal in case of:

Overnight stay /leave/ remaining out of the hostel premises after the scheduled time without any prior permission from the appropriate authority.
Any kind of misconduct within or outside the College campus.
Interference with the decisions of the authority concerning matters related to smooth administration.
Disobeying the rules and regulations of the colleges.

Legal Guardian:Name, address and telephone number should be mentioned clearly in the application form (In absence of parents any senior Blood Relation of the candidate will be accepted as the legal Guardian)
Local Guardian: Local Guardianâ€™s name, relationship, address and telephone number in Guwahati should be mentioned clearly in the application form.
